Stepping Into the Frame: A New POV for March Media
At March Media, we’re typically behind the scenes—directing shoots, crafting visuals, and capturing the magic for other brands. But recently, we had the incredible opportunity to step in front of the lens and be part of something truly special: a vibrant, tropical wedding inspiration shoot dreamed up by some of Vancouver’s most talented creatives.
Our founders and creative duo, Rosemary and Evan March, took on the roles of the model couple. Experiencing the process firsthand gave us a renewed appreciation for the energy, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit that go into styled shoots. Every vendor brought their unique creative spark, making the day unforgettable—and honestly, it was a blast!
We were honoured to join forces with an incredible team, led by Thistle & Thorne Weddings on planning and design, and beautifully captured by Eunice Kwok from Chuunice Photography.
Bright, Bold & Beautiful: Tropical Wedding Inspiration
This styled shoot was designed to inspire couples who crave a wedding as bold and unique as their love story, infusing Vancouver’s coastal scene with fresh tropical energy. The creative direction felt like summer in full bloom—bursting with juicy oranges, corals, and pinks that popped against lush greens and soft, dreamy textures. The result was a celebration of bold, saturated colour and joyful, unexpected details.
The vision beautifully balanced modern minimalism with tropical flair. Every element—from custom stationery and curated tabletops to florals that brought bold, dimensional presence—was layered intentionally to create a rich, immersive experience.
The Polygon Gallery, located in North Vancouver, was the perfect backdrop. Its clean, contemporary architecture, natural light, and crisp lines allowed the colour-forward concept to truly shine—transforming the space into a slice of modern paradise in the heart of the city.
A Fresh Perspective
Since we’re usually the ones behind the camera, stepping in front of it was both fun and eye-opening. It gave us a fresh perspective on what our clients experience—and a deeper appreciation for the magic that happens on set. We hope this colour-soaked editorial sparks fresh ideas and excitement for couples dreaming of a tropical wedding that reflects their modern, fun-loving spirit.
