As a growing team, we’re looking for a passionate and creative individual to join us as a Digital Marketing Assistant. This freelance contractor role has the potential to evolve into a larger position as you grow with the company.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a versatile and proactive team member who can assist with our social media clients, administrative tasks for our company and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You’ll assist in designing visual assets, managing social media content, and supporting various marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assist with graphic design projects, including branding, social media assets, website elements, and print materials.
Support content creation and scheduling for social media platforms.
Update and maintain website content using platforms like Squarespace or WordPress.
Research trends and provide input on creative strategies for clients.
Collaborate with the team on marketing campaigns and creative briefs.
Provide general administrative support for marketing and design tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic experience in graphic design, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and scheduling tools like Later or Buffer.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An eye for design and attention to detail.
Experience with Squarespace or WordPress is a bonus.
Applicants with experience in the real estate and finance sector will be heavily considered.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Must be available to work collaboratively in-person in Downtown Vancouver at least once per week. Additional workdays will be remote with zoom check-ins.
