October Newsletter: Fall Marketing Playbook: Boost Your Vancouver Brand This Holiday Season

A Note from Rosemary…

Hi Friends,

Fall is officially here, and while I’ll always love summer, I couldn’t be happier to welcome the new season. October one of my favourite months of the year! And it’s not just the cozy autumn décor, spiced lattes, and falling leaves. 🍂✨

October feels like a chance to embrace a new pace. Summer is filled with sunshine, trips, and endless activity, while September keeps us busy finding our rhythm again with school, work, and after-school routines.

By the time October arrives, there’s a shift: the weather cools, routines settle, and even the rain feels like an invitation to slow down and work with more intention.

As a team, we’re using this season to set the tone for the rest of 2025 and begin looking ahead to our goals for 2026. This year has been one of incredible growth for March Media — from welcoming Mackenzie to our team to supporting more clients than ever with their branding and marketing goals. I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. 🧡

To our clients and community: we’re grateful for the trust you place in us. We’re excited to continue growing alongside you, offering hands-on support, and helping you achieve success not only for the rest of 2025 but well into 2026 and beyond.

Wishing you a beautiful October and a lovely fall season!

Leverage Fall Marketing: Tips to Grow Your Brand This Season

October is the perfect month for Vancouver businesses to get ahead on seasonal content and prep for November, December, and even New Year’s campaigns. Small, actionable steps now can make a big difference for visibility, engagement, and ultimately, conversions this holiday season.

Here’s how to make your digital marketing work smarter, not harder:

Plan Your Content Calendar → Map posts, stories, and campaigns for the next 2–3 months. Include Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, fall promotions, and local events.

Tip: Highlight key dates like Black Friday or Small Business Saturday to build excitement early.

Email Campaign Prep → Draft holiday sequences: early-bird offers, newsletters, specials, or limited-time promotions.

Tip: Segment your email lists so you’re sending the most relevant offers to each audience: personalization drives higher engagement.

Track & Test → Experiment with content now to see what resonates before peak holiday season.

Tip: Try A/B testing your subject lines, post formats, and call-to-actions to discover what drives clicks and engagement.

Seasonal Social Content Ideas → Make your posts relevant, memorable, and scroll-stopping:

Thanksgiving: “Thank you” posts to clients or customers; team highlights or employee spotlights; share gratitude stories or community involvement.

Halloween: Fun Reels featuring costumes, office decor, or product demos; polls or quizzes (“Which Halloween item should we launch?”); themed giveaways or contests.

Fall Vibes: Behind-the-scenes content of your workspace or fall decor; fall favourites like pumpkin spice treats or pumpkin patch trips; cozy lifestyle shots featuring local Vancouver scenery.

💡 Pro Tip: Each piece of content should serve a purpose, whether it’s building awareness, driving traffic, or encouraging engagement. Consistency + strategy = a more discoverable, engaging, and effective brand.
